NOTE #1 | Waking Up

In numerology, the number 1 represents beginnings. The characteristic attached to this number is individuality - of being unafraid to start. It is the number that breaks free from the whole and explores this path of “freedom” through achieving independence.

I share this, because this is our first note to you, to our community.

A note representing the beginning of a journey we are embarking on together. A journey through the infinite notes that exist in our uni-verse. The notes we are able to experience as we tune ourselves to the different vibrations of this majestic symphony also known as - the many perspectives of Life.

This is the journey of DIAPASON, intended the same as its meaning, a word deriving and embodying the Greek etymology “through all notes”.

Our intention with this series of Notes, is to help provide clarity and simple tools for our community and the whole. A practical guide that will be able to further assist your own paths of tuning inward and awakening.

So let's start where this all usually begins…

WAKING UP

  • What does it mean to be “asleep”?
  • What does it mean to be “awakened”?

You may be saying: “I live, I work, I have eyes - I ‘see’ -  what do you mean I’ve been ‘asleep’ all this time, all these years? Asleep to what?”

These seem to be popular questions our generation has had for some time now, and that have spurred even more in the past couple of months.

Questions that have been ignored, brushed off and tabooed for ages, until now.

I know many have been on this ‘waking’ journey for some time now. Some maybe some long years, and others probably just a few months or days even. The important thing is, we’re all here now, together. Supporting each other into the unveiling of an era of love, self-love and compassion to all.

An era of understanding and Truth, an era of Light, an era of Unity.

What does any of this even mean… right?

It means great things are coming and unfolding in our time.

A time of great faith.
Faith in Humanity.

Humanity as one.

And yes, even in a time that is seemingly chaotic and difficult to comprehend, with so many layers.

This is what beginnings usually look like—a faithful plunge into the abyss— a dark unknown

As Lao Tzu once put it, New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings.”

This is what the path of awakening is, a brisk ending to a life you once knew, catapulting you into a new one you’d never even think existed before.

So baby steps–

To be ‘awakened’ is to become conscious and fully aware of the limited constructs our mind has created, supported by the belief systems we have innately inherited from our families and inner societal environments throughout our whole life.

It is the release of those ideas and judgements that have shaped our reality up until now, without ever having questioned them.

This journey of waking is a long and beautiful process where we learn to unlearn, in order to grow and expand (evolve).

It is when we allow ourselves to become open and receptive to new information without judging it.

Information that lets us see beyond our current perspective of the world and invites us instead to embrace new experiences that can lead us to more fulfilling and rewarding lives.

No beginning is easy, it isn’t meant to be. This is where the common saying of “growing pains” comes from. It is here, in the beginning, where we develop and create the stepping stones and foundation towards the path of our dreams.

As homework, ask yourself this:

  • Am I willing to let go of the idea of who I thought I was supposed to be in this life?
  • Whose permission do I need in order to be happy?
  • What is Purpose?
  • What is keeping me from discovering Purpose in my life?
  • What am I afraid of?

We invite you to join us each week as we explore these questions and tools in creating a life that is rooted in Joy, Love and Gratitude.

Please feel free to reach out directly if you have any additional questions and wish to dive deeper on anything to diapason@writtenby.agency, and we encourage you to share these notes with your friends and extended communities to start sparking change and awareness in each other.

With love,
